Universal's Endless Summer Resort features two sister resorts; Surfside & Dockside Inn. Both allow early access to the Universal Theme parks as well as transportation to both theme parks and Volcano Bay waterpark. Dockside Inn is the larger of the two and has a lot more food and swimming options as well as more rooming accommodations available. Both start at the same price point, so in this article I'm going to focus on Dockside Inn.
With $84 being their starting rate during off-peak season, it makes it much more appealing to stay on grounds! Most local resorts that would even compete with their rates would charge for transportation, and remember Universal includes their transportation in their price tag! This resort has a variety of rooms, but the best feature is that they have affordable options for family suites. I recently stayed at Dockside with my daughter and we had an absolute wonderful experience. Since it is a value resort it is important to note that it is located farther away from the parks but it is still only a 5-10 minute bus ride and the buses came OFTEN. When you get dropped off at Universal's City Walk you will walk to the main security entrance for all guests which can become a bit more crowded as well.
